
The BBC has revealed plans to axe two of its digital radio stations as they aim to reduce online spending by 20%.
6 Music and Asian Network have been confirmed as the digital stations to be cut, despite protests on Facebook to keep the stations going.
One Facebook group, SAVE 6 MUSIC, was approaching 20,000 fans as listeners tried to plead with BBC bosses to keep it going but director general, Mark Thompson defends his decision to axe the show.
