Local author Jane Eagland is coming to Blackburn Library on Thursday, June 11 at 7pm to talk about her new novel, ‘Wildthorn’.Set in Victorian times, ‘Wildthorn’, brings a gothic twist to a coming of age story.
Louisa wants to be a Doctor, for this she is sent to an insane asylum as an inmate under a different name.
Described as 'a bold and thrilling read' the novel was marketed for teens.
But it also has a broad appeal for adults particularly those who enjoy the great classics of the nineteenth century.
It promises to be an enlightening and entertaining evening.
