Darwen slipped to their second successive home defeat when Cheadle FC visited the Anchor Ground on Saturday. A low attendance turned out to witness the 4 - 0 loss which saw Darwen slip into the relegation zone.With just one win and 2 draws Darwen FC have collected just 5 points from the opening 9 games, leaving them in 16th position (out of 18). The win for Cheadle Town means they remain three points behind league leaders AFC Liverpool who also ran out 4 - 0 winners this weekend against Daisy Hill.
