Local (M65) Business Networking

A new local business networking event is having it's second meeting on the 12th November at a Mongolian restaurant in Oswaldtwistle.

The meetings kicked off last month we with a fun evening at Ger-Hana. The feedback was so good that organisers now want to develop the network further. One person who attended the event said

"The meeting was really enjoyable, mixing with new contacts and excellent food. The evening was informal and a relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to the next event when hopefully I can meet more ‘old’ and ‘new’ contacts."

The Pennine Lancashire (M65) Business Network

WHAT IS IT?
An informal and relaxed monthly networking event. Its aim being to create an environment where business people can network informally and effectively, discuss issues of mutual business interest and share good practice.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT?
Membership of the network is free – they want as many businesses as possible to benefit from this network. The only cost is for food and refreshment. The event is not only good for business but also sociable and fun.

WHY IS IT NEEDED?
Whilst there are some really good network organizations around, not everyone can join because of membership restrictions and cost can also be a problem. Many business owners also want a slightly more informal evening event where they feel under less pressure to deliver referrals and contacts. Of course we all recognize that the more contacts we have in business the better and the network seeks to build on existing activity and broaden contacts across the whole of Pennine Lancashire.

WHERE WILL IT BE?
The event will be at the GER-HANA MONGOLIAN RESTAURANT
411 Blackburn Road, West End, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 4NA.
Tel: 01254 396777
Mobile: 07961 436 179

The aim is to establish this as a regular event on the second Wednesday of every month with the next event being held on Wednesday 12th November 2008. Doors open at 6 pm.

Price £11 per person to include a 3 course hot Mongolian Buffet*.

Advance tickets only as places are limited to 40. E-mail or ring to book your ticket and reserve your place.
